I know, Easter is two days away. You have all these people coming over to celebrate. And you still have no idea what make. I hear you. I took today off, partly to prep, partly as a much-needed mental health day. I have a menu but have yet to shop or prep a single thing. And just to take some pressure off your shoulders, I’m in much worse shape than you. I’m cooking tomorrow.
I know what you’re thinking. It’s Saturday night. It’s 5 days til Christmas. And you still have so many gifts to get! Now, I don’t know what trendy tech gadget your brother Bobby might like, but if you’re looking to please your foodie friends (hint, hint last minute family members!)…I might have a few ideas.
Halloween used to be one of my favorite holidays. I guess it still is, but I feel like holidays have taken a backseat to my crazy, disorganized life lately. Can you believe Christmas is in 2 months? Thanksgiving even sooner? And what’s up with Hanukkah being pre-turkey day? Weird…
In our new apartment, Halloween is being downgraded. No decorations–not sure what box they’re in. Maybe a few spooky cupcakes, if I can find the right tools. At the very least, there will be some holiday cartoon specials going on. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Any takers? Though just because moving has interrupted my holiday, doesn’t mean you all need to suffer. Below are some of my favorite Halloween recipes I’ve come across this year.
