8 Ideas for Easter Brunch Planning

I know, Easter is two days away. You have all these people coming over to celebrate. And you still have no idea what make. I hear you. I took today off, partly to prep, partly as a much-needed mental health day. I have a menu but have yet to shop or prep a single thing. And just to take some pressure off your shoulders, I’m in much worse shape than you. I’m cooking tomorrow.

Tomorrow we’re hosting my husband’s family. Just six of us, but still plenty to do. My menu is far from a traditional Easter meal. I’m not a big lamb person. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law can’t eat pork, so no ham. So I figured if tradition won’t work, let’s go with fun. Roast duck, cherries, potatoes and lots of fresh produce. My biggest worry is the brand new dessert. You can’t exactly cut into a cake to check it before people show up. Here’s hoping everything goes smoothly.

But you don’t really care about my struggles, you’re thinking of yourself. What do serve those 5-20 (whatever) Easter brunchers you have coming over? Don’t worry. I have a few favorites to suggest.
