Halloween used to be one of my favorite holidays. I guess it still is, but I feel like holidays have taken a backseat to my crazy, disorganized life lately. Can you believe Christmas is in 2 months? Thanksgiving even sooner? And what’s up with Hanukkah being pre-turkey day? Weird…
In our new apartment, Halloween is being downgraded. No decorations–not sure what box they’re in. Maybe a few spooky cupcakes, if I can find the right tools. At the very least, there will be some holiday cartoon specials going on. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Any takers? Though just because moving has interrupted my holiday, doesn’t mean you all need to suffer. Below are some of my favorite Halloween recipes I’ve come across this year. Some are super tasty, others just too cute to pass up. So take a look, find your favorites, cook and share so I can live viciously through others’ celebrations. Boo!

LOL … great Mummy Dogs!!
I know, my favorite too!
The mummy dogs are too cute and I want that pumpkin creme brulee now!!
I know. As soon as I find my ramkins, the brulee is being made!
Okay, those mummy dogs are so freakin’ cute! Apparently I’m not the only who thinks so too 🙂 Mmm but those pumpkin seeds look delicious, maybe that will inspire me to carve a pumpkin this year just so that I can roast the seeds.
I know. Love them! I have a tiny pumpkin with hardly enough seeds. Obviously I need to find myself a bigger one.
